Dear Cornerstone Baptist Church Family and Friends,
Tonight at 7:00PM we will have our Wednesday Night “LIVE” Bible Study. This week we will be looking at “The Geography of the Old Testament”. I would like to encourage parents with elementary age children and youth to watch as a family. I think this study will give you an opportunity to learn with and teach your children about the Bible. For tonight’s study there is a worksheet. The worksheet is attached. If you are able, print two copies of the worksheet for each person watching the study. You can watch the study:
1. From our church website at https://www.cbccharlotte.com.
2. From our church Facebook page at https://facebook.com/pg/cornerstonecharlotte/posts.
On Thursday mornings, from 10:00AM-11:00AM, Dana Tison is hosting a time of prayer for our nation, city, church, and revival. You can join this prayer meeting by calling 1-262-468-7212 from any phone (Please Note: This may be a toll call if you don’t have free Long Distance calling), and when prompted, enter the PIN 876614471 followed by the # sign.
I want to thank all those who have continued to give and want to encourage those who are able, as the Lord leads, to give to support our church and her ministries. There are three primary ways you can give:
1. Give by visiting our website (by computer or smartphone) at https://www.cbccharlotte.com and clicking on the “Give” tab.
2. Give by mailing a check or money order to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 8947 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC 28227.
3. Give using your cell phone by texting “Eph220” to the number 73256. Once you send the text, you will be given a prompt on how to complete your transaction.
During this time of year, our church usually takes up the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering which supports our missionaries who serve in North America. You can still give to the Annie Armstrong Easter offering by mailing your Easter Offering envelope to the church, or by designating “Annie Armstrong” when you give online or through text.
On Friday at 7:00PM we will Livestream a Good Friday Service. You will be able to view this service the same way you view our Sunday morning worship or Wednesday Night “LIVE” Bible Study. During our Good Friday Service we will observe the Lord’s Supper. To participate, you need to have on hand (at the time of the Livestream) some bread or crackers and grape juice or water. In preparation (before the Livestream) you should break up the bread or crackers so each person in the household has a piece (about the size of a quarter). You should also pour the grape juice or water (about a quarter of a cup) into an individual glass for each person. As Baptists, we believe the Lord’s Supper is a memorial, where the bread or cracker and juice or water represent the body and blood of the Lord Jesus. For this reason, there is no requirement that the bread, crackers, or juice be a specific type or brand.
It is a privilege and joy to serve as your pastor. If there is anything I or our church can do for you, please don’t hesitate to contact me at pastorcbcclt@gmail.com.
May the God of peace be with you all!
In His Love,
Pastor Ted
