| Tim Jernigan, Senior Pastor |

I was born in 1970 in Lumberton, NC. I started to follow Christ in 1986 and surrendered to His call to ministry in 1991. In 1993 I completed my studies at Campbell University in Religion and enrolled at Gardner-Webb University School of Divinity the next year. I met my wife, Laura, while we both were attending Gardner-Webb University School of Divinity and we married in May 1998. God has blessed me in too many ways to count but at the top of that list would be being married to Laura (she’s out of my league!) being a dad to Elizabeth and Abigail (I didn’t deserve 2 beautiful girls like these 2), and getting to serve an awesome God! Since 1993, I have had the honor of serving as a pastor and church planter across the state. I have served here at Cornerstone since April of 2009.
I am a huge fan of the Carolina Panthers and the UNC Tarheels! I have a life-long dream of one day learning to play the guitar and getting my pilot’s license, but these dreams may have to wait until my preschoolers are out of the house.
